If so, then consider joining our team as a Staff Accountant/ERP Analyst in downtown Saint Paul!

As a member of our accounting team, you will work in a collaborative, professional, and fast-paced environment to provide accounting support and services across all departments and locations. On a regular basis, you will be responsible for performing a variety of general accounting functions, including general ledger reconciliations, billing and month end close process’s. You will also be an ERP reporting expert for the accounting team by collaborating with the ERP Administrator to create ad-hoc and customized reports and to develop relevant and insightful data management solutions.

In this position, you will frequently collaborate with Accountants, Contracts Specialists, IT, and Engineering and Architecture professionals to create new projects within our ERP system and obtain copies of applicable contract documentation and billing requirements. Throughout the lifecycle of a project, you will interact directly with Project Managers, Market Managers, and Division VPs to provide status and progress updates and relevant project financial data such as invoices, accounts payable, as well as information related to change orders or contract modifications.

Note: Flexible / hybrid work arrangements (3 days in office / 2 days remote per week) will be considered for self-starter and self-sufficient professionals who have demonstrated an ability to work and/or learn successfully in a remote work environment.

Required Qualifications.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting with an emphasis in MIS or MIS degree with an accounting concentration.
• Recent graduate or entry-level professional with up to three years of progressive accounting/ERP experience in an office / corporate setting.
• Thorough working knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• High degree of intellectual curiosity with and affinity for research and problem solving.
• Willingness to become a Deltek super user, with the ability to readily extract data and write reports.
• Technical aptitude and interest in acquiring competence within the SQL language.
• Strong organization skills demonstrated by an ability to plan, prioritize, and juggle multiple requests/tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with other members of the Finance team, management, and senior professionals.
• Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to work as a member of a team and independently to complete tasks.

Advantageous Qualifications.

• Previous experience with Deltek Vision or Vantagepoint.
• Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Reporting Services (SSRS) and Visual Studio Project.
• Ability to create, modify and edit custom reports using SSRS.
• Experience/Technical competency working with Business Warehouse/Intelligence tools.
