General Description of Position:

This Staff Accountant position is located at NauticStar Boats in Amory, MS.

Job Responsibilities include:

• Reconcile assigned balance sheet and income statement accounts monthly
• Prepare various accounting reports assigned by the company’s financial team
• Prepare monthly journal entries for multiple divisions
• Gather and prepare information for audit, tax and external financial compliance activities
• Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes on a timely and accurate basis
• Assist in physical inventory counts
• Contribute to special projects as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Education & Work Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Minimum 2-5 years accounting related experience; manufacturing environment experience
• Solid understanding of GAAP
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office including advanced use of Excel
• Team oriented, ability to handle multiple tasks and work independently
• Excellent, verbal and written business communication and organizational skills
• Detail oriented and strong work ethic
• Previous experience with Epicor preferred

Environmental & Working Conditions:

· Works in office environment

· Talking, hearing and vision capabilities are required

· Minimal bending, stooping, walking, and stair climbing are required as is lifting items of light to moderate weight

· Must adhere to the company’s quality standards, safety rules and regulations

Travel: Minimal to no travel required.
