We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Staff Accountant to join our Finance industry team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2+ years of experience and possess a strong skill set in financial reporting, month end reporting, month end closing, yearly closing, yearly audits, budgeting & forecasting, GAAP, quarter end close, and accruals.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Perform month-end closing activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Assist with yearly closing and audit processes, ensuring compliance with GAAP and other accounting standards.
• Develop and maintain budgets and forecasts, providing analysis and recommendations to management.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and analysis.
• Manage accruals and other accounting processes, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of financial systems, processes, and controls.
• Assist with ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in financial reporting, month end reporting, month end closing, yearly closing, yearly audits, budgeting & forecasting, People soft, GAAP, quarter end close, and accruals.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial software applications.
