Position Overview
This position reports directly to the Controller. We are entering an exciting period of growth, and this role affords great opportunity to drive the systems, processes, and controls to enable profitable scaling of the organization. The successful candidate will wear many hats in a fast-paced environment. It is important to have great communication skills, technical acumen, quality focus, and a sense of urgency.

Responsibilities:
- Drive monthly financial closings including journal entry preparation, bank and account reconciliations, and variance analysis and associated timelines
- Lead accounts payable activities ensuring accuracy and timeliness of invoice coding and entry utilizing Bill.com
- Ensure accounts receivables are processed accurately and timely
- Issue and track purchase orders
- Manage fixed assets including tracking, additions, depreciation, and disposals
- Entry and reconciliation of credit card transactions and accounts
- Monitor all expenses for coding accuracy
- Oversee intercompany reconciliation, billings, and transactions
- Prepare financial reports such as the P&L statement, balance sheet, cash flow and ad-hoc requests
- Inventory tracking and reconciliation
Successful candidates will have:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 0-2 years general ledger accounting or audit experience
- Proficiency in Excel
- Experience with QuickBooks Online or similar accounting systems
- Familiarity with A/P and expense management tools (such as Bill.com, Expensify)
- High level of professionalism, customer focus and high levels of motivation and initiative
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Preferred:
- A CPA certification or working towards a CPA certification is a plus
- Big 4 public accounting experience
- Job Costing experience
- Manufacturing experience
- ERP experience
