The Senior Software Engineer will work closely with the product managers and developers to provide the technical leadership towards creating and maintaining the big data systems for large scale, high performance, and rock-solid reliability. This is a hands-on position that will require performing system design and development activities, while actively contributing to the research and innovation efforts for the exciting and dynamic medical fields.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for designing, creating and maintaining of healthcare product applications
• Work with UX designer, the product owner and SCRUM Master, and Architects in analyzing business requirements to design and implement services, UI, and components to fulfill business needs.
• Participate in establishing processes and best practices around development standards, version control, quality control, deployment, maintenance and change management
• Other duties as required by business conditions or as assigned

Education, Experience, and Required Qualifications:

• Technical degree (Master of Science, Computer Science or equivalent) is required or equivalent work experience.
• 6+ years of development experience with at least 4 years in developing web applications using C#, .NET, ASP.NET MVC Services, and ASP.NET web forms and/or ASP.NET MVC.
• Hi degree of competence and experience building, working with, debugging APIs, using Microsoft .NET and REST principles required.
• Knowledge and experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript., SQL and MS SQL Database, ORM frameworks and NoSQL databases, HTML5, Bootstrap front-end framework, JavaScript MVC frameworks and Highcharts.
• Highly desirable is experience implementing and working with asyncornous message-based communication using REST micro-services, NService Bus or Azure Service Bus (service bus patterns in .NET), with queueing using RabbitMq or MSMQ.
• Experience in Scrum methodology, SaaS or cloud software development experience
• Ability to work effectively in a team and mentor junior team members.
• Results-oriented, self-motivated and quick-learner.
• Good interpersonal (both oral and written) communication skills.
