A Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) at Prospero is a developer with the primary responsibility of automating the test framework. The SDET will be writing code to verify the quality of the products and be able to implement new tools and frameworks needed to streamline and automate the quality process. SDET will work directly with Developers and Data Analysts to understand the technical designs and implement the quality automation features with efficiency.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Responsible for identifying, understanding and translating quality requirements into technical specifications, conceptualize solutions and designs and to ensure that code is written and projects are delivered with quality
- Adhere to Development SDLC processes and ensures solution development process is adhering to process controls
- Responsible for documentation of Automated Solutions, training and transition
- Partner with Development teams and interact with business stakeholders to find solutions for projects and development issues for existing and proposed databases

Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of SDET and/or programming experience
- Solid experience with Agile and CI/CD methodologies
- Experience with programming languages like.NET, C#, Python, Web Services, Microservices, REST APIs, JSON
- Experience with technologies such as Azure DevOps (ADO), GIT, Maven, Jenkins, etc.
- Experience automating Test frameworks
- Expertise in database testing including designing and manipulating test data, validating stored procedures, jobs, triggers and replication
- Understanding of QA methodologies, life cycle and processes
- API level testing and automation
- Participate in design sessions
- Design and build scalable automated test frameworks and test suites working across technologies
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in C#, .NET, Python or Java Development
- 3+ years of experience in Healthcare Data
- 3+ years of experience in ETL Processing
- 3+ years of experience in Big Data
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
