Job Title: Sr Mechanical Design Engineer

Location: Redmond, WA 98052

Duration: 06 months

Job Summary:

· Be part of a team that applies its expertise and knowledge to technical projects, finding innovative, cost-effective means to improve products, techniques, procedures, and technologies.

· You will design and develop new ideas and solutions for new product development as well as current products modification and improvements based on in-service issues and market strategy.

· You are responsible for design and implementation of mechanical parts, subassemblies and product improvements

Key responsibilities:

· Tooling and fixture design for inertial instruments

· Sensor design

· Finite Element Analysis for components and systems

· Data collection and analysis

· Technical reports and documentation

· 3D modeling

· GD&T analysis

· Support RCCA activity

· Write specifications

· Perform cost estimation for design tasks and piece part components

You Must Have:

· Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering

· Must be a US Citizen due to program security requirements

· 4 years’ experience with tooling/fixture design

· 4 years’ experience with design tools appropriate for the field (Creo, Solidworks, ANSYS, AutoCad, etc.)

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $44.00 - $47.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Redmond, WA 98052: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
