SR. Linux DEVOPS ENGINEER (Will consider Jr Linux Engineers w strong Python skills/experience. Must be able to write scripts from scratch).

• 
  This role will focus on designing and developing enterprise cloud capabilities and solutions for all cloud service types; IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
• This role will collaborate with the Product Development and Application Development teams during design and development phases, providing guidance, interpretation, and engineering expertise.
• Designing, provisioning, monitoring and maintaining the public cloud automation framework, enabling automatic provisioning of different roles of servers.
• The role will additionally focus on the overall project technical and architecture design, cost effectiveness, quality of solution, knowledge transfer, and mentoring of the Cloud Team members.
• Lastly, the role will be keenly aware of cloud computing industry trends with regards to technology and adoption while also being proficient in the understanding of and application of various automation related tools and languages.

  Contributes to and supports the corporate Enterprise Cloud strategy, standards and best practices associated with all aspects Cloud offerings
• Contributes to and support the corporate adoption of the DevOps methodology and Agile project management
• Provides expert level design and engineering support towards the successful delivery of IT’s cloud project portfolio
• Contribute towards continual service improvement activities related to the delivery of cloud services
• Develop and implement internal systems, processes, and best practices to be used by other teams designed to increase productivity
• Participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment, security, cost effectiveness and high availability in the cloud
• Design, implement, and test disaster recovery and business continuity architecture
• Create and implement automation in the form of infrastructure as code for cloud platform solutions
• Ensure all infrastructure components meet proper performance and capacity standards

• 
  Experience: 10+ years of working in roles including cloud architecture and management of Software as a Service (SaaS) utilizing DevOps/CloudOps across multiple environments (Dev, Test, QA, Production) and across multiple clouds (IBM, Azure, GCP, AWS and Digital Ocean)
• Must have 8-12 yrs hand-on experience in Linux DevOps and Engineering
• Ability to write scripts from scratch, Playbooks, SDI pipelines; MUST be able to write code.
• Python, Bash, Ansible, Jenkins (for SDI Pipeline), Go Lang; everything done through scripting
• Working knowledge of deploying, managing and monitoring solutions using multiple languages.
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Development, and/or Information Systems or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of managing and securing API’s for software as a service applications
• Knowledge of software development life cycle: Analysis, Design, Coding, Testing, Training, and Operational Support
• Multi-cloud experience required (IBM, Azure, GCP, AWS, and Digital Ocean)
• Docker and Cloud Foundry experience preferred
• Kubernetes and Serverless (Lambda/OpenWhisk) experience preferred
• Minimum of 2+ years experience building and releasing infrastructure-as-code in a production environment, managing full lifecycle using tools like Packer/Terraform.
• Experience implementing security with JWT Tokens / OAuth / OIDC preferred
• Understanding of blockchain technologies including public and private blockchain, highly preferred
• High level interpersonal skills in order to collaboratively work with both technical and non-technical personnel at various levels in the organization.
• Ability to understand business needs and how business systems can support those needs.
• Comprehensive understanding of ITIL practices
• Demonstrated software contributions to Open Source projects and communities.
• Good planning and organizational skills.
