Job Summary

The Graphic Design Senior Associate performs layout of copy text and graphic elements for marketing material, including resizing and personalizing existing materials, as well as creating some new materials and basic coding requests. Obtains, communicates, and coordinates pricing, quantity, and turn-around information with managers and branch staff.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for layout and customization of templated and custom Creation requests.
• Responsible for layout of bond ads and flyers, including but not limited to municipal bonds, preferred stocks, CDs, corporate bonds, and others as necessary.
• Responsible for basic HTML e-mails and financial advisor website edits.
• Ability to handle large volume of requests and routinely meet project deadlines. Also responsible for knowing and understanding own workload and assignments at all times.
• Layout of weekly, monthly, and quarterly publications, such as Investment Alert, Income Investment Selector, and others.
• Strong understanding of and adherence to the Stifel corporate brand, as well as able to explain branding requirements and rules to branch and department associates.
• Communicates with branch and department associates about details surrounding their requests, gathering additional information if necessary.
• Obtains quotes from third-party printers based on project and communicates pricing and options with the ordering individual.
• Understands and follows department workflows and approval processes, with the ability to explain those processes to requestors as needed.
• Attends and participates in department and team meetings as scheduled.

Qualifications

• Highly organized individual with ability to prioritize projects of varying importance and scope.
• Capable of handling a large volume of requests, typically on tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and attention to detail.
• Ability to acquire a general understanding of company and department systems and platforms, services offered, and policies and procedures.
• Some understanding and knowledge of marketing in the finance industry.

Education and Experience

• Minimum Required: Trade School certificate in Graphic Design
• Minimum Required: 2+ years design experience

Systems and Technology

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Strong proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator, as well as experience with Dreamweaver.
• Some knowledge of HTML.
• Experience on iOS using Adobe Creative Cloud
