• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain mission-critical and sophisticated systems, delivering high-availability and performance.
• Determines feasibility of proposed application modifications or design, ensuring the needs and requirements of the user will be met within time and cost requirements
• Champion code ownership, standard methodologies, high quality code with corresponding test coverage, to ensure reliability and stability are kept front-of-mind
• Participate in code and design reviews to maintain Maxor’s high development standards
• Conduct performance tuning and optimization
• Lead the analysis, design, development, and implementation of various initiatives, with end-to-end ownership to deliver the business functionalities.
• Design, develop and maintain mission-critical and sophisticated systems, delivering high-availability and performance.
• Develop high quality code, participate in code reviews, and mentor junior developers to ensure the features are delivered on time.
• Delivers zero defect code and responsible for ensuring the team's deliverables meet or exceed the prescribed defect SLA.
• Coordinate and participate in integration activities, automation frameworks for testing and deployments etc. in addition to contributing to core product code.
• Interacts with both business and technical stakeholders to deliver high quality products and services that meet business requirements and expectations.
• Presents technical solutions, capabilities, and features in business terms.

Education:

• Degree in computer science, software engineering, math or relevant field, or equivalent work experience

• 4+ years professional experience as a Back-end developer or similar role
• Hands-on experience building features from the ground-up with .NET and MSSQL), including server and database design.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• A collaborative, team oriented mindset
• Excellent communication and listening skills. The problems we solve are difficult, so the ability to clearly articulate complex concepts and break down in non-technical terms is a must-have.
• Familiar with Agile development practices
• Strong work ethic- a self-starter

• Very strong attention to detail, experience of maintaining documentation around highly nuanced requirements
• First-principles approach to problem-solving business challenges with software

Nice to Have:

• Experience with HL7/Other healthcare file and API interchange protocols, experience with AWS or other cloud environments
• Experience with front-end development (Angular 2+)
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
