The Healthcare Technology Analyst II plays an important role at Vamstar through the collection, organization, and delivery of the most relevant and timely industry data to the company’s clients and senior leadership team. By combining attention to detail with strong analytical skills, the Healthcare Technology Analyst II ensures that the scope of Vamstar’s market research portfolio is accurately updated and continually expanded—including detailed product and competitive landscape analysis along with identification of global industry trends. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in a healthcare-related market research role, demonstrated ability to gather and assimilate disparate data into a cohesive dataset, and desire to work in a collaborative environment where delivering value to clients is the primary goal.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting the medical technology market intelligence team with improving search results against Vamstar’s platform.

This includes:

• Running geo-specific and product-specific queries based on thousands of tags
• Working with the team to identify new tags to improve search results
• Assessing the accuracy of tags against search results
• Detailed documentation and reporting of errors to improve performance
• Recommending improvements to the database structure or Indexing methods
• Supporting the medical technology market intelligence team by creating and modifying databases as needed. This may include creating reports based on data analysis findings.
• Analyzing large amounts of data to identify patterns.

Role requirements include:

• A strong interest in the healthcare industry, including ambulatory care delivery, clinical research, consumer devices, pharma, and medical technology for diagnostics and treatment.
• A curiosity about the market that drives a deep level of understanding for the products being investigated.
• An adherence to data integrity.
• Excellent writing skills to produce insight articles as well as communicate data changes and trends analysis.

Basic qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree.
• 2 or more years of relevant experience.
• Excellent oral and written communications skills in English, with other languages a plus.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision and guidance, learning new responsibilities quickly.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and data management skills.
• Analytical skills; collects, researches, and interprets data.
