Eagle Rock Resort is currently looking for a Spray Technician to join the golf maintenance team. This is a full-time year-round position.

Eagle Rock Resort is a private resort community that spans over 8000 acres of countryside and is located just outside Hazleton, Pennsylvania. Here at Eagle Rock, we have an 18-hole championship golf course that has USGA sand based bent/poa Greens, bentgrass fairways, and blue/ ryegrass rough. There is also a 9-hole executive golf course that has USGA A4 bentgrass greens and “low mow” bluegrass fairways and rough.

This position works closely with the Superintendent and the Assistant Superintendent in all aspects of golf course maintenance including chemical and fertilizer applications as well as the calibration of the equipment used for applications. Other duties include, small crew management, basic irrigation repair and troubleshooting, moisture management and course setup.

This position would be perfect for a recent graduate of a turfgrass program or certification program to gain experience in the industry. Educational Requirements Turfgrass Management Degree or Certificate (preferred) Pennsylvania Applicators License (preferred) Experience Requirements 1–2-year golf course/ landscaping experience; will train the right candidate.

Special Requirements:

Must possess or be able to obtain a Pennsylvania applicators license within 90 days of start.
