Responsibilities:
- Assist with negotiation of contracts (<$25k) multiple partners. Gather and organize information, analyze cost estimates and present conclusions. Prepare and route internal Terms of Agreement and Sponsorship Agreements documents for each contract.
- Coordinate creative assets for each account to meet deadlines and marketing objectives.
- Analyze, summarize and report promotional results and post event measurement at the conclusion of each season/event.
- Ensure fulfillment of contractual elements by collecting and verifying proof of performance.
- Initiate graphic projects including specifications, formatting and deadlines for all signage and messaging.
- Design, create and produce consumer promotions to highlight sports marketing objectives.
- Assist Sr. Sports Marketing Representative and Community Marketing Representatives with on-site activation planning and implementation. Load and unload marketing vehicles and trailers, assemble and dismantle event displays, drive cargo van with marketing trailer in tow, travel to events, which include overnight stays on some weekends.
- Wear the ball suit costume to sport and community sponsorships along with winner events when necessary
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree; Sports Marketing degree preferred.
- 2 -3 years of professional experience in sports marketing.
- Knowledge of marketing and sports promotion practices.
- Ability to learn and implement contract negotiation best practices
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to perform a task with general and/or little supervision by following established standard operating procedures and/or policies.
- Skill in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Outlook, Publisher, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to drive cargo van and trailer.
- Ability to set up trailer and displays for events.
