Job description

Responsibilities:

• Under the supervision of the Director of Sport at TBK Bank Sports Complex (Bettendorf, IA), you will assist in the execution and coordination of operations for both Youth and Adult Sports Leagues, Camps and Clinics.
• Assist with the planning and execution of TBK Bank Sports Complex Special Events
• Help supervise building and program staff or volunteers and act as Manager on Duty during events.
• Serve as the on-site point of contact if emergency procedures are enacted.
• Coordinate leagues, clinics and camps and ensure program effectiveness.
• Properly set up, take down, clean up and maintain all Sport equipment and facilities.
• Manage and assist in sport changeovers, serving as the leader of a group focused on accomplishing a given task.
• Supervise adults and children during games/activities to ensure they are being executed in a safe and respectful manner.
• Help to establish clear behavior expectations for all program participants and ensure that they are followed throughout the program.
• Help develop, plan, promote, and administer Youth and Adult Sports Leagues, Camps and Clinics.
• Communicate rules and strategies of the game/activity to coaches so they can accurately teach and instruct their athletes.
• Discipline children or coaches, when necessary and in an appropriate manner, using positive verbal reinforcement.
• Attend all required staff meetings and training as necessary and assigned.
• Must be willing to work weekday evenings and weekends.
• Perform any other appropriate duties as assigned by the Director of Sport.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $32,000.00 - $37,000.00 per year
