Job Summary

As a Wellness Council of Arizona Spin Instructor, you will provide spin instruction to employees of registered organizations onsite at their locations. You will conduct entertaining and fun classes to promote fitness in a safe and effective manner. You will maintain positive relationships with class participants to encourage continued class attendance.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Attend scheduled classes on time with a positive, encouraging attitude
• Develop positive relationships with class participants by teaching a variety of challenging and entertaining group fitness classes
• Motivate class participants to continue to consistently attend Spin classes
• Report attendance to the Wellness Council of Arizona

Qualifications and Skills

• One-year experience as a fitness instructor
• Minimum of one nationally recognized Group Exercise Certification (please send a list of the types of classes you are certified to teach)
• Must be able to teach Monday, Wednesday from 5:00-6:15 pm and Fridays from 7:30-8:45am

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $35.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Oro Valley, AZ 85755: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)
• Group fitness: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• AED Certification (Preferred)
