Catapult Learning in partnership with Mount Ephraim School in Mt Ephraim, NJ is hiring a NJ certified speech therapist to work with students in grades K-12. The speech therapist will be responsible for helping students communicate clearly and swallow appropriately. SIGN ON BONUS!!

THIS IS A PERMANENT PART-TIME POSITION SERVING STUDENTS ENROLLED IN NONPUBLIC SCHOOLS IN MT EPHRAIM, NJ. SERVICES WILL BE PROVIDED PRIMARILY IN PERSON AND VIRTUALLY AS NEEDED.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

• Evaluates levels of swallowing, speech and language difficulty and identifies treatment options.
• Designs and implements intervention programs which identify deficit speech/language skills of eligible students.
• Works with school personnel and parents to implement services in accordance with the student’s Individual Service Plan (ISP).

• Offers consultation and collaboration with school staff and parents in support of student’s speech language goals.
• Creates progress reports showing progress against goals and objectives – in coordination with school report cards.
• Determines eligibility for speech services for students newly referred, and creates an ISP for qualified students.
• Creates updated ISP for each continuing student in the spring of each year.
• Dismisses students from speech service when goals and objectives have been met.
• Reports to Catapult Learning Speech/Language program supervisor.
• Is knowledgeable concerning all policies and procedures as established for these services by the Company's Program Manual, the funding source, and the individual school(s).
• Completes required paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.
• Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• Requires a Master’ Degree and NJDOE certification as a speech/language specialist.
• Experience providing speech services in a school setting preferred.
• Experience providing both in-person and remote (Zoom) service a plus.
