Job Description
Responsible for planning and execution of fundraising events. With the guidance of the Senior Vice President of Development and Communications, develop and evaluate fundraising goals, budgets and logistical plans.

• Under the direction and guidance of the Senior Vice President of Development and Communications, develop and implement strategies to increase event revenue and contain expenses to maximize net proceeds, face-to-face meetings with event sponsors and participants
• Supervise the Development Coordinator for Special Events
• Oversee volunteer committee meetings and event volunteers
• Responsible for overseeing the design of sponsorship and underwriting opportunities
• Oversee the acknowledgment process for special event participants to ensure timeliness
• Ensure timely follow-up of briefings, minutes, and invoicing
• Recommend changes to event program strategy to increase effectiveness of overall program

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree required and a minimum of five years related experience, preferably in a non-profit setting.
• Experience with running events from conception through execution
• Ability to multi-task, coordinate more than one event simultaneously
• Excellent communication skills
• Self-starter, ability to take initiative on projects

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
