Job Summary:

As a Software Support Specialist, you will provide first level support for internal applications, test feature enhancements for o internal applications and work closely with our Business Analyst and Software Developers.

Essential Functions:

• Provide the first level support of internal applications.
• Monitoring and assigning service desk tickets for our internal applications.
• Oversee testing and creating documentation or our internal applications.
• Communication application problems that need level III support to developers and the Application Development Supervisor.
• Evaluate system enhancements and implement within corporate workflow increasing efficiency.
• Work directly with the Business Analyst and Developer team
• Attend meetings where proposed projects are discussed

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Be able to take the technical jargon of computer technology and make it understandable for those who do not have a technical background
• Be able to write short documents describing the functionality and processes of supported applications
• Be able to communicate effectively via oral and written means
• Be able to formulate the logical flow of a business process, spanning across business units
• Be able to work independently and effectively with end-users
• Be familiar with the Internet and know how to navigate the world wide web

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be eligible to work in the united states without sponsorship.
• Highschool Diploma or G.E.D.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work
• 1-3 years work experience in IT Support/Help Desk or related roles (Preferred)
• 1-2 years work experience in the commercial printing industry (Preferred)
• Associates Degree in Computer Science or related field (Preferred)
