The ConMet Digital team is developing and delivering an innovative line of Internet of Things (IoT) products and services that are transforming the commercial vehicle space. We are growing our team with talented people who are excited to make a difference and are currently looking for a Software Quality Assurance Analyst. This role will report to the Software Development Manager and will be responsible for testing and supporting quality deliveries of our suite of software products consisting of user dashboards, installer tools, APIs, custom integrations, and several mobile applications.
This role is based in Vancouver, Washington.
About you:
Learning a new technology excites you, and your curiosity for figuring out how things work combined with your strong attention to detail makes understanding systems and making sense of data come naturally to you.
You care about user experience and understand how important the roles of software testing and quality assurance are in ensuring a seamless and positive user experience. You tend to notice small details and will make sure it gets corrected when needed.
Ideally, you’ve got some experience with agile/scrum, writing SQL queries, and using ticket tracking systems– so you’re equipped to jump right in and work independently on smaller items while working with the team to learn about the technology and ultimately take on bigger tasks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop test plans and testing methodologies
- Coordinate with developers, internal teams
- Participate in requirements review for new feature sets
- Test and validate updates across our suite of web and mobile software
- Perform testing for tickets as developers complete them
- Develop and execute system tests for new feature sets
- Perform regression testing prior to production deployments
- Assist customer support with troubleshooting and reproducing production bugs.
- Assist with managing ticket workflow and release management
- Provide clear communication and documentation on testing status, bugs, summary of analyses
- Build and expand on existing quality assurance processes and procedures
- Maintain and enhance existing test procedures and regression tests
- Provide feedback on system usability and areas of improvement
- Establish and maintain automated testing processes
- Serve as subject matter expert for our suite of software products
- Support to hardware engineering team with end-to-end testing, as needed
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent amount of education and technical experience.
- 2+ years software or systems testing
- 2+ years relational database experience
- Experience with Agile and Scrum
