Software Implementation Support Specialist

SUMMARY:

The Software Implementation and Support Specialist will gather and analyze clients’ business, functional and technical requirements to develop and deliver implementation recommendations and a working solution of SaaS applications within project scope.

Bureau Veritas supports a variety of software platforms centered around building/facility: permitting, construction management, capital planning as well as maintenance and operations. The project scope will involve application configuration, coordinating user acceptance testing, integration with other applications, reviewing and assisting data migration specialists, and training end users on software products. The Software Implementation Specialist will integrate cross functional collaboration with other internal departments such as sales, product, and support to be successful in this role. Travel is required for the training components of this role- up to 60%.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other job-related duties may be assigned in conformance with state and federal regulations.

Core Duties:

· Provide consultative services with clients to define application business requirements and cultivate a collaborative and consultative relationship.

· Gather and analyze clients’ business, functional and technical requirements to develop and deliver implementation recommendations and a working solution of SaaS applications within project scope.

· Deliver project scope which will involve application configuration, coordinating user acceptance testing, integration with other applications, reviewing and assisting data migration specialists, and training end users on software products.

· Integrate cross functional collaboration with other internal departments such as sales, product, and support to be successful in this role.

· Create and deliver group interactive training classes both virtually and in person to meet client needs and requirements.

· Provide technical assistance to site users such as troubleshooting, training, and coaching as required.

· Maintain customer’s best interest, understanding the business problem from their perspective, and working to find a timely and accurate solution.

· Work with users to identify, prioritize, and implement system improvements.

· Proactively communicate successes/failures to all internal and external stakeholders.

· Possess the ability to successfully work from remote location when not traveling.

· Maintains the ability to travel, on average, approximately 60% of time to client sites across the U.S. via plane and driving as determined based on the project location.

· Ability to use and skillfully operate a computer is essential to this position.

Education and/or Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Business Management, and Computer Science or related field is preferred but not required.

· Years of experience and certifications in lieu of degree will be given consideration.

· Preference is given to those candidates with proven experience with software integration or implementation.

· Candidates will have experience in one or more of the following: Customer Service, Consulting, Training, Instruction, or Professional Services.

· Minimum of 2 years of field experience on a variety of facilities or CMMS highly desirable.

· Not required but highly desired: candidates with experience and/or familiarity with code enforcement, permitting processes, parcels, and licensing.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

o Valid driver's license is required with no significant MVA points/violations (clean driving record).

Other Qualifications:

o Personal credit sufficient to charge business travel expenses of up to $3,000 required (to be expensed to company for reimbursement).

o Must have a cell phone and supply your own internet service.

o Must be able to work from a remote location.

o Must be willing to fly and live near (or be willing to relocate to) a major metropolitan area with reasonable access to a major airport.

o Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications with a strong emphasis in MS Excel.

o Strong written and verbal communication skills.

o Excellent time management skills including ability to perform multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and ability to work independently.

o Ability to travel, on average, approximately 60% time to client sites across the U.S. via plane and driving as determined based on the project location.

o Able to skillfully operate a computer and electronic tablet in the field for live data collection.
