Job description
Write software code for embedded devices that protect lives during emergencies. Using C and Javascript, you'll write code to power fire-alarm monitoring systems nationwide.
You'll also work closely with hardware designers to meet the needs of unique client applications.
To minimize bugs in life-safety devices, part of you job for your first 9 weeks will be a (paid) "boot camp" that simulates creating similar devices from scratch using Arduino Uno and laptop web servers.
You can advance very quickly if you develop strong skills and get real results. We only promote from within, and we're working to grow Digitize rapidly after acquiring the company recently from its original founder.
Work experience not required. You must understand the basic fundamentals of data structures, loops, functions, etc. Part of your interview will be a basic take-home "C Challenge" that involves fairly simple data manipulation and sorting.
