Job description

We are seeking a web applications developer who will assume a key role on our team. This role has responsibility for understanding client business and technical requirements and then delivering appropriate end-to-end solutions consisting of component-based, service-oriented applications developed using industry-standard and modern programming technologies such as C#, SQL, JavaScript, Angular, Bootstrap - As well as other complementary languages. Our working environment allows for freedom to self-direct, with individual responsibility for prioritizing multiple tasks. You’ll be working alongside other SDEs, collaborating on the various layers of the infrastructure for our elearning / learning management platforms.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of software engineering experience
• BA/BS in related discipline (computer science, etc.) preferred, demonstrated skills and experience will take precedence over education
• Eligible for employment with any US employer for any length of time without visa transfer or sponsorship
• Physically reside in the Puget Sound area

Skills and Expertise:

• Excellent object-oriented design and coding skills using a compiled language such as C#
• Proficiency with front end frameworks and libraries such as Angular/AngularJS, Bootstrap, and JQuery
• Experience with T-SQL and writing functions and stored procedures for MS SQL Server
• Experience working with graphic designers and converting designs to visual elements
• Understanding and implementation of security and data protection
• Development experience for both mobile and desktop (responsive design, for example)

• Ability to identify and follow a software bug regardless of where the search may lead you in the application stack
• Knowledge of code versioning tools such as Azure Dev Ops (formerly VSTS) and GIT, and processes, like pull requests / code reviews

Nice to have:

• Understanding of server-side languages including .Net Framework and .NET Core/5
• Experience in designing and building web services, SQL Databases, and cloud based architectures
• Working experience coding, using and designing REST APIs
• Experience with cloud based services (Azure, AWS, etc.)
• MCSA or MCSD certifications

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $115,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
