ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
You'll work directly with a diverse team that is curious and open. We've got a unique blend of Wall Street and Silicon Valley, to continue building low latency high throughput distributed systems which are at the heart of enabling millions of users to trade and invest daily.
We also offer Rotational programs within our different engineering divisions at DriveWealth so you can gain more exposure and knowledge of the Technologies we are utilizing. This also gives you the opportunity to learn new skills from other team members and broaden your professional skill sets.
As a note: we're currently building out our San Fransisco Bay team! This opportunity will be hybrid, with the team going into the office an average of 1 time per week (and as needed for awesome collaboration)! We are not providing relocation assistance at this time, but welcome you to apply if you currently (or soon will) reside in the Bay area.
WHAT YOU'D WORK ON WITH THE TEAM
- Collaborate to deliver the best technology solution
- Leverage modern best practices, including code reviews, continuous integration and deployment, and iterative development
- Partner with business and technical leadership to imagine, design, develop, test, and launch
- Be willing to investigate and explore business needs
- Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly and implement them effectively
WHAT YOU BRING (REQUIRED)
- 1-3 years' experience with multiple back-end languages and frameworks (Java, Python, Golang, React, e.g.)
- Familiar and/or experience building and using Restful API
- Experience of software development and production deployment
- Strong Communication skills, written and verbal
- Maintaining and upgrading the software following deployment
WHAT WE NEED (PREFERRED)
- Cloud Software design
- Experience with Kafka
- Experience working with cloud services preferably AWS
- Concurrency and Multithreading knowledge/experience
