The targeted hiring range is: $133,920-$163,680 annually; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on the job-related knowledge, skills, credentials, and experience of each candidate as well as other factors such as the scope and location of the role. Candidates outside of the range listed above are encouraged to apply and will be considered based upon their individual qualifications and/or may be considered for other positions.
- Lead developer talent in building portal applications in support of our company strategy
- Manage your team of software engineers in a matrixed led scrum organization
- Build and maintain relationships with product owners and business leaders
- Mentor and coach software engineers to develop and grow careers
- Lead Agile development efforts using modern SDLC methodologies
- Resolve technical debt and minimize the creation of new technical debt
- Partner with architecture and security leaders to align to standards
- Scale communication of technical concepts to executive team and technical partners
- Ability to organize multiple priorities and manage engineering team to achieve deliverables
- Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned
Minimum 5 years of experience in software development- Minimum 3 years of experience in people management (hiring, mentoring, and managing staff)
- Experience working in or leading a front-end Agile development team is preferred
- Previous experience working in Agile scrum teams is beneficial
- Experience with multi-tier application architecture and microservices
- Prior experience working with or leading development of secure portals using MFA, identity management, Okta, Active Directory preferred.
- Experience with pipeline based SDLC CI/CD automation preferred
- Experience building UIs in React preferred
- Previous experience using GraphQL API preferred
- Experience working with GitLab, or similar DevOps platform preferred
- Previous experience with GuideWire Insurance Platform preferred
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related IT field or equivalent experience required
