What you will do
As our Social Media Manager, you will be given the opportunity to expand your skills and be exposed to multiple functions and leaders within the company at-large, helping to amplify the evolution of a well-known, content-rich, heritage brand. You will assist with overall department duties, including supporting and enhancing external and internal communications through the lens of social media.
  • Support the Office of the CEO and Consumer Public Relations team to build a social presence across platforms in addition to the WeightWatchers corporate social channels (LinkedIn & Twitter).
  • Manage programming across platforms including TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter for WeightWatchers thought leaders.
  • Own the full stack for social media management: content ideation, drafting, editing, scheduling, posting, moderation, and reporting.
  • Write clear, compelling content and use storytelling to build engagement.
  • Regularly report on analytics, including insights and suggestions for growth and development.
  • Oversee content calendars to ensure all approvals are complete and deadlines are met.
  • Collaborate with the Content and Creative teams to spearhead social-first marketing ideas.
  • Remain current with new technologies, social media best practices, overall listening, and overall trend reporting.
Who you are
In addition to being a collaborative, social-native, multi-tasker with strong project management skills, here’s what you’ll bring to the table:
  • Trendy is your middle name. You have a firm grasp on current events and what's happening in the social sphere at all times. You’re the person who knows what’s trending before it’s officially trending. You do all the trip planning, know about the new restaurant and make the reservation before there’s a waitlist.
  • You’re an energetic, outgoing content creator who is excited by working with people, engaging with new communities, and mastering new technologies and social features.
  • You have at least 4 years of professional experience with a proven track record of increasing your audience on social media platforms.
  • You’re a pro with all social media platforms, with a strong knowledge of Instagram Reels and TikTok video editing and production
  • You’re a strategic, creative thinker and an implementer. You enjoy coming up with new ideas that will engage audiences and execute them with urgency.
  • You can work in ambiguity and readily embrace change. You understand that creativity may strike at any moment and are open to working non-traditional hours when the need arises.
