About the position:

We are looking for a Social Media Copywriter to create content for clients and promote their products and services on social networks.

Responsibilities include updating their client’s social media pages, responding to followers and tracking user engagement. To be successful in this role, you should have excellent web content writing skills and experience creating both organic content and advertising on multiple social networks.

Ultimately, you will ensure we maintain a strong online voice and brand consistent with our client’s marketing goals.

Typical Activities:

• Write, edit and publish engaging posts for various social networks, including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
• Optimize social media posts (language, tone, message) based on the target audience’s behaviors, persona and archetype.
• Select appealing images and videos to complement the text
• Post social media content natively in each application and through SMM software such as Sprout, Khoros, Later, etc.
• Coordinate with internal teams to create an editorial calendar and corresponding posts
• Track and report on social media insights (traffic, engagement, shares, conversion rates)
• Apply advertising techniques to boost brand awareness, like promotions and competitions
• Respond to questions and comments on our client’s social media pages in a timely and accurate manner

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a Social Media Copywriter or similar role
• Hands-on experience using Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, TikTok and other social platforms for business
• Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research, and analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics)
• Familiarity with online paid advertising
• Ability to deliver creative web content (text, image, and video)
• Excellent communication skills
• BSc in Marketing, Communications, or relevant field
• Experience doing audience research and developing personas
• Great interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills
• Willing to work non-traditional hours during major campaign launches to ensure success across all platforms
