We are a fast growing, woman-owned business that empowers high-end boutiques and businesses to embody their authentic story through intentional design and curated brand experiences.

We are hiring a Social Media Associate to create strategic and supportive content for our client's social media platforms to engage and connect their audiences, followers, and grow their exposure. We believe that a strong online presence opens the doors to new opportunities for our clients, and we want our Social Media Assistant to feel empowered to help our clients grow their businesses.

You understand that a successful social media presence goes well beyond a pleasing aesthetic, but you’ve got that covered, too. You have a great eye for design, and you are always noticing attention-grabbing graphics, products, and brands. You know that communication is key – and you know that images and words shape perception. You can analyzing engagement data and identify trends in follower interactions. You love knowing your job isn’t just about inserting hashtags or making sure posts go up. It’s so much bigger than that. You’ll be helping talented entrepreneurs get their businesses off the ground or throttle them to the next level.

LOCATION

Most of the work can be done remotely. However, you will be on-site for weekly meetings and photoshoots in DC. You'll also be working on-site for some of our local clients, creating behind-the-scenes content for stories and reels.

OVERVIEW OF THE POSITION:

The SM Assistant will be responsible for all public communication with our client's present and future followers and customers through Instagram.

You’ll be communicating with our clients and their community. So, you need to enjoy building relationships through social media.

You enjoy bringing your own creative ideas to the table – You're ahead of social media trends and can show up to meetings with new things to try/fresh ideas.

You are highly organized. We use Trello for all project management tasks and workflows and we’ll ask you to join us there to keep everyone on the same page.

You're self-motivated. You thrive working independently and can get the job done with little to no oversight.

You are meticulous in your work. A product or location tag will never go missed in an IG post!

You understand quality content. We expect you to have a solid understanding of quality content that drives up social media traffic and moves the reader along to the next step in the customer journey. You know how to find and integrate images that not only match a specific aesthetic, but will also perform well.

You have an entrepreneurial spirit. You will be working alongside our founder, Lindsay, and can wear all the hats!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Write, schedule, and post social media content for our client's IG from a high-level approach

Develop and Manage:

20-30 Instagram posts/week (will vary depending on accounts)

30+ Instagram stories/week (will vary depending on accounts)

Create story graphics to support content

Engage with IG followers who watch and interact with their posts

Find targeted accounts to follow and interact with to grow account exposure

Reply to post comments within a 1 hour time frame

Report on trends you are noticing in responses that could inform future content and marketing messaging

Review the social media traffic and create a report (monthly)

Use Trello to track projects and inform team of needs and status updates

Participate in weekly meetings

Create IG reels and/or Tik Toks

Capture behind the scenes content on-site during photoshoots

Travel to our DC client locations (up to 15 miles) to create BTS content for stories, reels, etc.

REQUIREMENTS:

Be exceptionally confident in writing and selecting imagery that supports the bigger picture

Be willing to stay curious and continue to get to know our clients on a deeper level

Be highly organized and detail-oriented

Passionate about seeing businesses thrive

Pay: $48,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Experience:
