We're a local clinic with over 35 years of experience. We were the first accredited sleep lab in the southern part of Atlanta. We have two locations to better serve the south metro area, in Fayetteville and Stockbridge, GA.

Job Description

Performs comprehensive sleep testing and analysis for pediatric and adult patients. Provide assistance with Sleep Technician Trainee as needed.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

· Arrives to work on time and willing to go to both locations (Stockbridge & Fayetteville)

· Review the Patient's history and sleep study orders, verify and greet patient, complete appropriate questionnaires, and consent.

· Provide age-appropriate explanation and education for the procedure (PSG, CPAP/Bi-Level/ ASV Titrations, Split Titration, MSLT and MWT)

· Select appropriate equipment and calibrate equipment for proper functioning.

· Apply sensors according to protocol, acclimate to CPAP if applicable and perform pre-calibrations.

· Monitors the recording per protocol to include routine documentation and interventions as needed.

· End study per protocol, complete required post study paperwork, remove sensors and clean appropriately.

· Scores Polysomnograms and prepares reports per protocol.

· Assists in training, orientation and competency assessments as needed.

Position Requirements:

· High School graduate or equivalent

· Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or Certified Polysomnographic Technologist (CPSGT) preferred but will train the right candidate.

· Maintain Current BLS certification.

· Maintain a minimum of 10 CEU's per year.

· Must possess good written and oral communication skills.

· Must have proficient computer skills appropriate for the position

· Must demonstrate equipment troubleshooting and maintenance skills

· Demonstrate teamwork skills

· Demonstrate critical thinking and ability to work with minimal supervision.

· Follow HIPPA policies to maintain the privacy and security of patient information.

· Demonstrate the ability to follow directions and follow all Sleep facility protocols.

· Assist with patient education per protocols.

Work Hours:

· 7pm - 7am - 3 nights per week rotating weekends required
