Alonso`s Auto Repair Auto Repair is growing. We just doubled the size of our shop and are looking for an experienced Lead Automotive Technician to help us create success. We are a successful family-owned and operated shop that offers a friendly staff, and experienced leadership to help our technicians achieve their career goals. Job Duties Include but not limited to:
- Performs advanced diagnostics and repairs on vehicles.
- Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customers.
- Coach, Lead, Train, Develop and Supervise all Technicians within the Department.
- Responsible for individual Technician productivity and attaining monthly production hours’ goal for the Service Department.
- Maintains current knowledge of inventory and competitive products.
- Conducts periodic reviews on job statuses to ensure work is being completed as per repair order and manufacturer standards.
- Maintains condition of vehicles, inventory, tools and equipment.
- Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashion.
- Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments.
- Completes all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments.
- Accounts for all time and all material used in performing assigned duties.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business.
- Test drive vehicles to test components and systems. Use diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
- Ensures all service level targets are met or exceeded.
- Guarantees customer satisfaction in all areas.
Qualifications:
- Attention to detail and excellent people skills are a must.
- Certifications are a plus but not required.
- Valid Driver’s License (required).
