Job description

Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement age appropriate activities for school-age children
• Supervise children and employees at a before and after-school program
• Ensure agency and state policies, procedures and regulations are followed on a daily basis

Candidates will have:

• Leadership and supervisory experience
• Experience managing groups of children
• Organized, manages time well
• Strong communication skills
• Positive, patient, friendly, upbeat attitude
• Experience with behavior management

Education/Experience

• Must have an Associate Degree in Child Development, Elementary Education, Physical Education, Recreation, or related field, or School age Child Care Credential AND two years’ experience directly working with children under the age of 15 years, including at least one-year supervisory experience.

Full-time hours:

• 32-35 hours per week
• On-site hours: Monday-Friday 6:45-9:00 a.m. and 3:00-6:00 p.m.
• Additional hours: include shopping, planning, paperwork, Site Director meetings, training, etc.

Benefits After 90 days of employment : Sick time accrual upon hire. After 90 days of employment personal/vacation time will accrue along with eligibility to enroll in health insurance and misc. insurances (dental, vision, Aflac pd. by employee). Employees contribute to health insurance premiums.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
