JOB SUMMARY

Manager Warehouse, Shipping & Receiving, Cycle Counting and Material Handling teams and processes.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage, evaluate, and report on warehouse productivity.
• Manage receiving activities making sure parts are received correctly, paperwork is stored according to retention policy and parts put away within 48 hours.
• Coordinate material handlers to ensure parts are stored properly and shop fulfilled with materials needed for execution.
• Drive Cycle counting program and investigate discrepancy performing root cause analysis and creating action plans for reoccurring problems.
• Drive warehouse/storage improvements to maximize storage.
• Communicating and coordinating with other departments and customers.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Manage pickers to ensure all customer orders are picked and delivered to shipping in time to meet customer needs.
• Determine storage rules and audit warehouse to ensure safety and accuracy.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Strong working knowledge of warehouse management and operations.
• Leadership and organizational skills
• Good project management skills, introducing strong decision making, problem-solving
• SAP MM and WM module

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s Degree in business, management, logistics or a related field required.
• 5 years’ or more experience as a warehouse, shipping/receiving manager
