Shipping/ Receiving Clerk is responsible for Shipping, Receiving and supporting Production. This position is responsible for picking, packing, labeling and running orders in the warehouse.

• Interpret pick lists rapidly and accurately, find and pick parts accurately.
• Builds shipment by packaging and labeling various groups of parts properly to ensure they are not damaged during shipping.
• Transacts serialization of parts as needed.
• Processes shipment completely and stages for pick-up.
• Follows proper inventory procedures and policies at all times.
• Monitors access by local employees and vendors in the shipping and warehouse areas.
• Performs cycle counts and inventory transfers as required.
• Monitors and supports production flow as needed by keeping the production floor clear.
• Keep production lines stocked with raw materials
• Assist in warehouse clean-up and re-configuring, as required.
• Participates inventory as required and any other inventory counts.
• Assist in the Hard Tag Department and other departments as needed.

Education

• High school diploma or GED equivalent

Experience

• Three (3) years experience shipping all types of parcel and LTL shipments

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Computer proficiency, including data entry
• Prefer Work experience in a facility utilizing Warehouse Management System (SAP)
• Basic math aptitude
• Good communication skills
• Detail oriented to maintain inventory accuracy
• Ability to safely operate forklift, battery and propane.
• Problem solving skills.
• Ability to understand the SAP system and learn the system.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently/
• Team player who can work with others to perform day to day responsibilities.
