Shipping & Receiving Forklift Operator
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a hard-working Shipping & Receiving Forklift Operator for a company based in Houston, TX. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for the requisition and delivery of materials to vendors and managing inventory in a fast-paced, warehouse setting.

Pay Rate
$17.00 per hour.

Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 8 00 am to 5 00 pm.

Shipping & Receiving Forklift Operator Duties and Responsibilities

• Daily loading and unloading of any size or type of equipment.
• Prepare shipping documents as required for all shipments.
• Review shipping documents for accuracy for both domestic and international shipments.
• Responsible for all the faxing, scanning, and correspondence with internal and external customers.
• Process of parcel shipments (FedEx and UPS) both domestic and international
• Call LTL carriers daily for pickup of outbound shipments.
• Generate accurate and timely shipping and receiving reports.
• Maintain records of shipments and receiving documents.
• Provides tracking information and proof of delivery as needed.
• Provide freight quotes and packaging information as required.
• Set up and maintain clean and organized “Stage Areas” for daily shipping.

Shipping & Receiving Forklift Operator Qualifications and Requirements

• At least 3 years of logistics experience
• Excellent customer service and communications skills
• Must be detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
