Shipping & Receiving Clerk
Job Summary:
Responsible for handling, counting, storing, packaging and processing receipts & shipments of Raw Material & finished goods inventory. Responsible for executing computer transactions utilizing company ERP/Infor Visual Systems, Customer Portals and Logistics software programs.
Major Responsibilities & Authority:
Make sure parts & material are received and moved along to the next operation promptly while ensuring material traceability is maintained and all necessary system transactions have been performed.
Receive finish goods/ Pre-package
- Store and or package parts in accordance with packing/storage instructions while adhering to any customer specific requirements.
- Process required inventory transactions in ERP system
Pack for Final Review
- Package parts and review/release customer orders via various customer portals.
- Generate packing slips, customer documentation and labels pending respective quality release agent for final review and sign off.
Ship & Receive (Raw Materials & Outside Vending)
- Insert final dunnage, Customer or Vendor required paperwork, seal box and apply pertinent labels
- Record final execution and mode of transportation for shipment
- Process packages through logistic software and or contact freight forwarders.
- Unload delivery trucks (Forklift certification preferred)
- Receive and transact incoming material while maintaining inventory control.
- Dispatch & deliver incoming materials and parts to proper departments
- Observes all Company policies, rules, and regulations including good housekeeping, safety and security.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School or equivalent
- Computer Skills
- Reliable, Honest & Dedicated Team Player
- Interpersonal/Communication Skills
- Detail oriented
Work Environment:
At times the employee will be working in a shop environment with moderate noise levels. Some of the duties described above are performed in an enclosed, climate controlled room. Safety glasses required at all times in the shop.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
