Responsibilities:

The Shipping & Receiving Clerk is responsible for providing excellent customer service keeping in mind that our customer’s perspective comes first. This individual maintains accurate parts inventory and assists the Parts department with routine audits, parts organization and tracking. The Shipping & Receiving clerk ships, delivers, and receives parts orders.

What does success look like for parts?

Daily tasks - Top Priority

1. Urgent meeting To-Dos

2. Parts receiving/invoicing

3. Pull pending parts report and update excel sheet

4. Organize parts

5. Review emails

6. Follow up calls/emails

7. End of day warehouse trip

Additional Daily tasks:

1. Process returns

2. Work on weekly tasks

3. Sweep/trash

Weekly tasks

1. Pull new report for returns waiting on credits/get updates from vendors

2. Organize returns, review returns book

3. Review parts not dispatched on ROs over 21 days

4. Call on signed credit requests

5. Send returns report with notes to manager

Monthly tasks

1. Physical inventories

Top performer requirements

1. All the above is done daily/weekly with time to spare

2. Orders all parts daily

3. Parts checked for damage when received

4. Damage requests are negotiated and billed or parts are reordered

5. Parts are checked against the estimate as received

6. Parts are mirror matched against the vehicle

7. Develops relationships with vendors
