Red River Commodities processes sunflowers and select other specialty crop agricultural products to create food ingredients. We source the highest quality raw seeds and other crops from reliable growers. We then provide processing options to fit your existing product lineup or create new products to feed your business growth. We are currently searching for a reliable Shipping Clerk to fill a 1st Shift position.

Summary
Supports the Processing plant with all shipping, receiving, and logistics needs while working in a fast-paced environment.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Print and ships all outbound BOL's.
- Receives all inbound PO's and transfers.
- Checks and modifies any BOL's or pick lists as needed.
- Verifies all loads required to be secured are load locked.
- Maintains all files for outbound loads.
- Contacts carriers or secures logistics for loads if needed.
- Utilizes customer online links to verify carrier status.
- Orders supplies, answers phone calls and coordinates any transfers.
- Responsible for printing all necessary tags or labels required to meet customer's receiving department requirements.
- Assist with inventory counts and reconciliation.
- Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Qualifications & Required Skills
- 1-year experience in warehouse and/or shipping preferred.
- Must be able to be at work daily, attendance is important!
- RF Scanner or computerized inventory system experience preferred.
- Solid computer skills including Microsoft software, ERP/NAV experience preferred but not required.
- Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills and be customer service focused.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a team environment.
- Forklift experience, preferred but not required.
