FedTech Inc., a manufacturing job shop, has an immediate opening for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk. Forklift operation and knowledge of Shipping and Receiving operations a plus. Knowledge of Shipping & Receiving Operations and Forklift certification is a plus! Shipping / Receiving hours are Monday - Friday; 6:00am - 4:30pm, actual working hours to be determined
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Packaging and palletizing packages that are to be shipped
- Working with UPS, FedEx, couriers and freight companies to ship product
- Obtain quotes for shipments via courier and freight
- Work with customers and vendors on day to day operations
- Receiving in all shipments from trucks
- Loads all products prior to shipping
- Verifies all paperwork is complete and filed correctly
- Keeps Plate and customer materials in order
- Maintains cleanliness of warehouse area
- Arranges for disposal of waste
- Running errands as necessary
- Making pickups and deliveries as necessary
Other Duties
- Maintain a positive image for the company
- Perform miscellaneous shop duties as required
- Perform other duties that may be assigned
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2 years shipping and receiving experience
- Excellent Computer skills, good working knowledge of UPS and other related software
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions in English
- Lift over 50 lbs
- Work while standing for a full shift
- Forklift qualified
- Valid Minnesota's drivers license
