Job description

Our client specializes in precision 2D, and 3D laser cutting and is seeking an experienced Shipping and Receiving Associate at their Redmond plant.

Pay: $22-24/hr.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 6am-2:30

Job Responsibilities:

• Receive and verify items, place material in bins or racks, count items and add to total on bin cards, pull items for shipment, deduct from bin cards, box, crate or place on skid for shipment, complete documentation, and load trucks.
• Use lift trucks; pallet jack and strapping kit to accomplish most tasks.
• May be pulling parts for internal shop or customer orders
• May check in received items, verifying paperwork is correct
• Clean up shop and yard as needed

Job Qualifications:

• Must have a minimum of 1 year forklift experience
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
• Basic math skills
• Must be able to read, write, understand and communicate in English
• Prior Shipping/Receiving experience

Physical Demands:

• This work is defined in the medium strength factor of physical demands but may require handling of items in the heavy category. This work requires continual handling of various weights throughout the course of the day as inventory and work order requests vary. Standing and walking are the inherent features of this work when retrieving orders. Some intermittent sitting may occur when operating the forklift.
