La-Z-Boy Home Furnishings in Springfield, IL is looking for a hard-working, dependable lead service technician to fix and repair furniture. You must have a good driving record. You must be able to take charge and operate without management supervision. You do not need any furniture repair experience - we train you on the job to repair furniture.
We are a quickly-growing family-owned business that provides amazing benefits and a great work environment. We don't micromanage - so you need to be able to manage yourself. We require some heavy lifting, and working on Saturday is required with shorter hours. We're looking for motivated, positive people. You will normally work 5 days per week (Tuesday - Saturday 9-5).
Pay
- $20.00/hr. + MONTHLY BONUSES + BONUSES FOR HITTING GOALS + VACATION BENEFITS + 401K + MEDICAL BENEFITS!
Requirements
- Work an estimated 40 hours a week (9-5)
- Saturday work required (9-5)
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be willing to travel to be trained
- Must be able to pass a drug test and medical exam
Tasklist.
- Properly inspect the furniture and diagnose service problems
- Make minor cosmetic repairs on damaged stock items
- Prepare your schedule and route for the day
- Service and repair furniture in customers' homes on the spot.
- Provide an excellent customer experience
