Service Scheduling – The Service Coordinator receives incoming calls for service of compressed air equipment and installation of equipment, and schedules all field service repairs. They work with the Service Manager to coordinate the activities of the Service Department and maximize Service Technician utilization. The Service Coordinator serves as the information liaison between the Service Manager, Service Technicians, and customers – providing regular updates to customers regarding service that are in process.

Service Administration – The Service Coordinator enters scheduled service orders in the database and facilitates the closing of service orders approved for invoicing. They place orders for parts required to complete service orders, and work to expedite the delivery of these orders, as needed.

Essential Job Functions

· Professionally administer incoming service calls and ensure the customer’s needs are appropriately serviced

· Greet and assist customers in a professional, friendly manner

· Provide callers with information such as company address, directions, fax numbers, company websites, etc

· Invoice completed work orders (20-25 daily)

· Manage rental equipment fleet and invoices

· Manage Service Employees timesheets and job coding - daily

· Filing of all invoiced work orders - daily

· Typing and logging of all service quotations - as needed

· Maintain assessment reports and system status

· Maintain Customer Library on internal server

Additional Job Functions

· Coverage of After Hours Emergency Service Line

· Assists in the ordering, receiving, stocking and distribution of stock and customer parts

· Coordinates service requests for PM’s and Emergency Repairs

· Assist with scheduling of service technicians

· May be asked to conduct customer follow-up on how service was performed

· Additional duties as assigned

· Create new work order logs

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (including physical and work environment)

· Working knowledge of basic accounting principles relating to invoices

· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, Outlook and Internet Explorer as well as the ability to learn the Company’s business information system

· Skilled in the areas of interpersonal communication, organization, accuracy, and professional verbal and written communication

· Must be able to maintain and protect the confidentiality of all Company proprietary information and trade secrets

· Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as accept direction from Management

· Ability to apply teamwork principles when working with Company personnel

· Work environment requires exposure to computer screen, typing/mouse usage, and extended periods of sedentary work.

· Ability to lift materials up to 50 pounds

Locations: This position is available at our Jacksonville, FL office.
