Job description
SUMMARY:
Responsible for processing of routine banking transactions and preparation of supporting schedules. Prepares certain cash-related journal entries. Prepares and distributes various banking, pricing and workers compensation reports.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Initiates or releases wire and ACH transfers as scheduled or required
- Daily monitoring of bank accounts and funds accounts as needed
- Works with cash management and custodian banks
- Prepares bank account reconciliations
- Primary administrator for the company credit card program
- Prepares various benefits plan schedules
- Prepares journal entries for certain cash activities
- Prepares and distributes various pricing reports
- Prepares and submits various workers compensation reports
- Supports year end audit procedures
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
None
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Required
- High School diploma
- 3 years of accounting experience or related office experience
- Good communication, attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred
- Bachelors degree
- 1 year of treasury experience
