This position is eligible for a Hybrid work arrangement based in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Senior Test Engineers support New Product Development (NPD) and Sustaining Engineering projects by providing design Verification and Validation (V&V) of a product’s user, performance and technical requirements, collaborating technically and programmatically with project teams to design and develop test systems and methods. Senior Test Engineers have responsibility for independently directing and performing test activities to ensure product quality, reliability, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities we will trust you with:
Partners with design and project engineers to understand product performance requirements and identify optimum test and analysis methodologies.
Establishes and manages V&V plans and resources supporting project team objectives and project timely completion.
Provides mechanical, electrical, electro-mechanical and simulated use testing and analysis.
Develops standard and specialized test methods using a variety of lab tools.
Independently designs, develops, fabricates and verifies test fixtures and procures specialized and general-purpose test equipment as required.
Identifies, evaluates, coordinates and leads testing by outside laboratories.
Analyzes test failures and collaborates with project teams to identify design solutions.
Performs data analysis to prepare and submit V&V report(s) for assigned projects.
Provides mentorship to less experienced engineers and technicians.
Seeks and promotes continuous improvement opportunities in V&V processes and capabilities.
Collaborates effectively at all levels of the organization.

Skills and Experience:
Bachelor Degree (BS) in Engineering (e.g. Mechanical, Electrical, Biomedical, or other related field) is required; Advanced degree in field is desirable but not required.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in product V&V testing for BS degree OR minimum 3 years’ experience with MS degree.
Experience with Medical device development and testing required
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in reliability engineering preferred
Experience with statistics , hypothesis testing, and D esign of E xperiments (DOE); Ability to study data collection, organization, analysis, interpretation, and presentation.

Travel:
Up to 10% travel with a mix of domestic and international locations
Occasional overnight trips may be required
