NetEase, Inc. While NetEase Games develops and operates some of world-wide most popular AAA mobile and PC games.

To expand our team overseas, we are looking for multiple Concepts artist to support our Art Design Center. Remote working opportunities, targeting all candidates station in Canada, US or in Europe.

Responsibilities

• Innovate bleeding edge technology and the best practices, apply to AAA game development.
• Collaborate with artists and engineers to design and create new art workflows and tools to achieve a product’s visual style and encourage artistic evolution within the studio.
• Support artists and troubleshoot pipeline issues as they arise, implementing root cause solutions to ensure that assets are authored properly.
• Collaborate with art team and technical team to define budgets and audit game performance.
• Serves as a technical resource for all phases of production and other studio art needs.

Skills

• 5+ years’ experience in AAA game or related industries.
• Strong knowledge of 3D art production and current gen video game development processes and techniques.
• Proficient in the use of Maya, Substance, Photoshop, and Blender is a plus.
• High proficient in Python, UI Framework PyQt/Qt for Python, knowledge of C++ and C# is a plus.
• General knowledge of rendering budgets and other technical issues related to performance in real-time engines. Familiarity with game performance evaluation tools on consoles is a plus.
• Excellent collaboration, presentation, and communication skills.
• Preferred experience with Unreal and physically based rendering pipelines.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $80,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
