Job Description:
- We are looking for a Senior Accountant who has at least 3 (preferably 5) years of very recent CPA firm experience.
- This candidate would be adept at preparation of individual, partnership, corporate, S corporation tax returns and has reviewed them as well.
- The candidate has dealt with tax correspondence, prepared payroll and sales tax returns, insurance audits, and is comfortable dealing directly with clients, not just through email.
- The candidate should be adept at performing tax research and tax planning.
- We would love to have a candidate who has supervisory experience; it can even be supervising interns or bookkeepers or junior accountants.
- The candidate must be skilled with Office 365 and QuickBooks desktop and Online.
- Experience with Lacerte tax software is preferred, but not required.
- The candidate must have knowledge and experience of GAAP and how to apply it to their work.
- Experience with financial statement preparation is preferred, but not required if the candidate’s tax skills are strong enough.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
