Ignite is currently seeking a driven, detail-oriented Senior Software Developer WITH $5,000 SIGN-ON BONUS to join our team supporting The US Army, in New Cumberland, PA, and Huntsville, AL. This position is onsite. The Senior Software Developer will work with the Sr. Architect and assist in the analysis, planning, and design of workflows, functional attributes, and mapping and development milestones for Development Sprints. For the consolidation and modernization of customers’ Web/Software Applications and software components of the data center. Work with the customer to capture additional functionality and optimize designs, workflows, and Sprint

Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate test plans and provide documented results with criteria at every layer of development in coordination with the Lead Architect.
  • Develop and sustain mobile applications for the SAE.
  • Develop customizable applications for mobile devices such as iPads, iPhones, other mobile devices.
  • Prepare and maintain code repositories, data flow, storyboards, and other development documentation.
  • Document and develop changes for new, modified, adds, or deletes of functionality within the code structures of existing systems.
  • Assist in efforts to modify systems to function in virtual environments in cooperation with modernization efforts.
  • Ensure and maintain compliance in coordination with the cybersecurity team.
  • Performs administrative duties during off-peak time for scheduled maintenance windows.
  • Perform bug fixes as required.
  • Software developers shall use Army Agile and standardization methodology in software development as required.
  • Ensures all developed code meet and supports security and regular US ARMY IT systems as required by Department of Defense and Army standards, policies, and RMF controls to include IAVAs.
  • Participate and comply with a review of content management, policies, and approval processes for the development of public-facing webpages.
  • Deliver the content to the web administrator in support of Directors for graphic enhancements prior to submitting it to the webmaster.
  • Maintain a digital/electronic source of all promotional products, programs, and concepts and responds to information requests for US ARMY programs.
  • Communicates ideas, verbally and in writing, as well as prepares briefings for presentation to leadership and management staff.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of work experience in Software Development.
  • Certification: IAT Level II or higher.
  • Experience with aspects of multiple web frameworks and technologies. Should have an advanced working knowledge of C#, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, .NET Framework, vbScript, XML, operating within a DoD environment with enabling technologies such as Apache Tomcat, Globalscape SFTP, Active Directory, RedHat Enterprise Linux, VMware ESXI 7.0+, Windows Server 2012/16/19+, SCCM, WSUS, Active Directory, LDAP, DNS, Advanced PowerShell, Enviromux, Cohesity, IIS, MS SQL, RHEL.
  • Assist with STIGs and POA&Ms as changes are made to any structure of the coded fabrics to support Cybersecurity and Change Management to ensure ATO and RMF reviews.
  • Ensures all developed code meet and supports security and systems as required by Department of Defense and Army standards, policies, and RMF controls to include IAVAs

Security Clearance Requirements:

Must have an active Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Software Development

Other Requirements:

Must be a US citizen and be able to obtain and hold an active Security Clearance

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
