Position Description:

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for participation in development of Redwood's proprietary application suite. This includes full stack development and working with business units to implement enhancements to continually evolve business process. You will be responsible for aiding and mentoring junior and mid-level developers through code reviewing and mentorship.

Responsibilities:

• Work directly with product owners to develop solutions to complex problems
• Responsible for the full life-cycle development for our proprietary software as well as customer portals
• Implement all new features and functions end to end
• Act as subject matter experts for company owned applications
• Participate in the deployment of your new features to production
• Participate in code reviewing/standardization processes
• Design, enhance, and maintain our existing and new systems

Qualifications:

• 5+ Years of development experience
• Knowledge of C#, Node, React, Typescript
• Experience with real time client-server applications multithreaded
• Experience with distributed system design
• Familiar with software development best practice
• Experience working on agile teams
• BA/BS or above from a Computer Science, Math, Engineering or related technical degree preferred
