POSITION OVERVIEW

dormakaba is seeking a Senior Security Expert to provide expertise on IT Security to our Global Management Team. This position is responsible for identifying, handling, and responding to security incidents and supports to remediate weaknesses with tools used in IT security operations team in order to protect dormakaba's business activities.

**This position can be REMOTE, located anywhere in US**

PRIMARY DUTIES

• Manages and leads the orchestration and coordination of actions needed to respond to security incidents or vulnerabilities identified
• Is well versed with Incident handling and communication protocols
• Supports improvements to tune and shape the incident management playbooks, processes, procedures, runbooks and supporting tools.
• Determines and coordinates vulnerability management strategy, mitigation and remediation activities.
• Consults and supports other IT functions in the context of IT security topics for standard infrastructure and OT environment
• Is responsible for maintenance of the various SOC tools (EDR, VM, SIEM, O365, Firewall/ Network monitoring appliances, Cloud monitoring) *Microsoft stack
• Monitors Threat Intelligence received from multiple sources and participates in Threat Hunting initiatives and activities
• Understanding of OT security and related protocols to develop and improve OT related use cases and rulesets
• Consults and supports other IT functions in the context of IT security topics
• Identifies program risks, problem-solve, and implement solutions by coordinating work across multiple business and technical teams
• Works collaboratively with all internal resources to become the subject matter expert to ensure the highest levels of security measures are achieved

REQUIREMENTS

• BS Degree in Computer Science or similar field, ideally with a focus on IT Security
• 5+ years’ work experience preferred
• Must have the ability to communicate effectively via telephone, multiple forms of electronic mediums, and within a group environment for business presentations
