Position Summary
Responsibilities
Collaborate with Corporate Security functional programs (Event Risk Management, Travel Risk Management, Executive Protection, Threat Management, Physical Security, Enterprise Risk Management, Business Continuity) to create relevant training material for program stakeholders and all Teammates
Create training and awareness content using a variety of mediums, including the Company intranet, PowerPoint slides & presentations, Yammer posts, bulletins, and e-learning modules
Develop and maintain Corporate Security’s intranet site to appropriately reflect the function’s scope and role at Bridgestone Americas
Drive initiatives to develop e-learning modules to be delivered through the Company learning platform, including a comprehensive new Teammate security orientation
Partner with functional program owners and the Communications team in bringing awareness to new security resources, requirements, and changes
Proactively create monthly training topics and develop all associated materials to empower Corporate Security colleagues to deliver content
Adapt materials to appeal to a variety of audiences, including Company leadership, people leaders, office employees, retail environments, and manufacturing personnel
Build a new cross-functional and business unit Corporate Security Champions program to drive a Company-wide security culture
Develop standardized approaches, procedures, and policies for training implementation
Create, oversee, and ensure compliance with a training calendar
Define and manage objectives, maturity roadmap, project plan, and milestones to grow best-in-class training program
Track and report program KPIs to Corporate Security leadership; use feedback, observations, and metrics to continuously improve program
Minimum Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor’s degree; degree in security / international affairs, communications, or education preferred
5+ years’ experience creating training or awareness materials, coordinating training sessions, and performing related responsibilities.
Prior in-depth experience in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Yammer)
Exceptional written, oral, and presentation skills
Ability to collaborate and build successful partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
Strong interest in security topics / knowledge of global security issues
Highly inquisitive and interested in asking several detailed questions to create accurate, useful, timely, and engaging content
Preferred:
1+ years working in a corporate security department
Proficiency in Spanish and/or Portuguese
