Job description

ICON is seeking a Senior Scrum Master to act in the role, as well as Mentor/Model the behaviors and skills to other Scrum Masters. This is a Contract with ICON to support our client, a Multinational Technology Security Company.

Required Experience:

• 3+ Years acting as a Scrum Master in more than one organization
• Worked with more than one team at a time as a Scrum Master
• Coached teams on agile principals and practices
• Supported other Scrum Masters by helping them understand the jobs/duties of the role
• 2+ years working in a SAFe Environment

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coaches teams on the agile mindset by applying agile principals and practices
• Teaches, mentors, and coaches internal Scrum Masters in their role
• Facilitates Scrum ceremonies including daily standups, backlog refinement, sprint planning, team demos and retrospectives
• Work closely with Product Owners to ensure backlog items are properly and fully defined
• Work with the teams to resolve any impediments that may be blocking progress
