Insight Education Group is seeking a full-time senior research analyst to support Insight’s work across a variety of contracts and projects. Reporting to the Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships, analysts are mainly responsible for creating and submitting proposals. Analysts also support members of the Business Development and Service Delivery teams to conduct research and data analysis; produce client-facing documents, resources, and tools; and serve as point for the overall administrative and operational support across the Business Development team. Analysts at Insight wear a variety of hats and their responsibilities are multi-faceted, but their work generally falls into three categories:

*Business Development
*

  • Support all aspects of the development and submission of proposals for new partnerships and federal grant applications
  • Draw key insights from current literature and relevant content to incorporate into proposals and research briefs
  • Develop and implement processes to collect and analyze project data to evaluate impact and program effectiveness
  • Implement project management structures for proposal development and delivery
  • Prospect and provide weekly updates on partnership and grant opportunities
  • Prospect and provide weekly updates on conference presentation opportunities
  • Implement project management structures for proposal development and delivery
  • Track and report on weekly business development activities in Salesforce/HubSpot
  • Develop content and materials to support Insight’s business development efforts
  • Help support and manage website inquiries (including live chat) and filter them to the appropriate team member in collaboration with the Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships

*Service Delivery
*

  • Support the work of consultants across a portfolio of projects with schools, districts, and state education agencies
  • Oversee effective management, collection, and analysis of data across projects
  • Conduct research and analysis of issues as requested, including preparation of reports and other materials

*Administration
*

  • Print, make copies, ship materials as needed
  • Internal project coordination; note-taking

*Specific responsibilities include:
*

  • Conduct research and write narrative to support the development of proposals and federal grant applications
  • Conduct research and data analysis on a variety of education topics
  • Develop data collection methods, analysis, and reporting
  • Print and ship proposals and grant applications
  • Copy-edit written and visual content
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the organization to develop content and materials that will support business development and the delivery of Insight’s services and fulfillment of Insight’s contracts with a variety of partners
  • Research and analyze school, district, state, and national-level data and communicate outcomes succinctly and effectively to a variety of audiences

*Required Qualifications:
*

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree
  • Background in education; grant writing and proposal writing experience; experience working in a school environment; experience with data analysis and research
  • Proficiency in software and technology that support our work including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Proficiency in statistical software (STATA, SPSS, etc.) preferred

  • Knowledge of education policy and research landscape
  • Content development, specifically as it relates to educator professional development (slide decks, toolkits, reports)

  • Ability to embrace ambiguity and sometimes unpredictable nature of the work
  • Self-motivated, fast learner with the ability to work on a team and independently
  • Project management, prioritization, balancing competing deadlines

Location
Insight Education Group is a virtual company. We seek to hire the best person for the position, regardless of location. The location for this position is flexible.

The majority of the time this position will work from home; however, this role will require limited travel to company retreats and client meetings as needed.

The salary for this position is $65,000 and DOE
